Puretorq Double Acting pneumatic 90 degree rotary actuators have one [1] moving part. The vane or paddle moves back and forth through the patented Tri-Seal. The Tri-Seal utilizes the air pressure to assist in making the seal to the vane. As a result, the Tri-Seal has the unique ability to compensate for cycle wear.
The Tri-Seal is made with a pliable polyurethane which has excellent wearability. Combined with the pressure asisted and compensating feature this design surpasses the cycle performance of all vane type actuators and at a price that is very competitive to rack and pinion actuators.
