Puretorq Actuators Dual Acting Series Spring Return Series
Puretorq is the most innovative and unique pneumatic actuator on the market. It achieves an extremely
high cycle performance at a very competitive price. Puretorq is suitable for rotary 90 degree applications including ball valves, plug valves, butterfly valves, dampers and doors.
The paddle or vane is supported by upper and lower bushings allowing for a very pliable seal. The Tri-Seal is low friction allowing for excellent positioning and utilization of low air supply. The Seal is pressure assisted by the air supply. Combined with the supple nature of the seal the Puretorq will provide unprecedented long cycle life.
Testing exceeds
4 million cycles with no significant wear. Meets ISO and NAMUR standards for the mounting of positioners, valves, solenoids, and limit switches. Benefits include reduced maintenance, reduced parts inventory and excellent chemical and corrosion resistance (suitable for H2S sour gas) especially in wash down and nace environments.
Temperature rating is -40F / C to 170F / 80C. Housing construction material is glass reinforced nylon, the seal is polyurethane, the shaft is 304 SS, and the trim is nickel plated steel.
