AMCO Hot Water Meters to 350º F
Johlin provides five models of ABB inferential meters for batch or continuous hot
water flow measurement. These meters accommodate a variety of flow rates, pipe sizes
and temperatures.
We stock the S130 3/4" single jet hot water meter and the M190 1" and 1-1/2"
multi-jet inferential meters. Other sizes are available upon request.

These are brass cased meters for measuring water up to 195 degrees F and up to 150 psi.

Model M190
ABB brass case/brass top plate multi-jet inferential meter is provided in
sizes 1 and 1-1/2" for flows from 1/2 to 31 gpm and 7/8 to
88 gpm, respectively, in services with pressure up to 230 psi and 266 degrees Fahrenheit.
An externally powered pulser insert is available to provide a dry contact reed switch output of 1 contact per USG or per 10 liters. |
Model H4300
This meter is for higher flow rates and has only 2 moving parts, the impeller
and the magnet. These are Woltman design horizontal impeller type meters.
The H4300 is available in sizes 2" to 6" operating with a low flow accuracy of +/- 3% and accuracy
+/- 1% up to peak flow.
This meter is recommended for measurement up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and 230 psi.
Available with either a reed switch element or opto-electronic pulse transmitter. |
Model H4400 2" 3" 4"
This meter can be installed in services where water temperature can reach 350º F and pressures are up to 195 psi, 350 º F where pressure reaches 230 psi.
Two externally powered pulser models are available for the H4400, a reed switch pulser for output of 1 contact per 10 gallons or per 100 USG.
Also available, an inductive (Namur) pulser for higher resolution, 3.785 contacts per 1 USG.
